How to view, stake and trade your assets when using Arch Custody, powered by BitGo

Updated over a week ago

Arch offers the first of its kind qualified custody product available to accredited individuals, powered by leading qualified custodian, BitGo.

Customers can also access institutional trading with deep liquidity and institutional staking via Blockdaemon and Figment with this product.

Onboarding

If you haven't onboarded to custody your assets with Arch, you can read how to do so here.

Arch Dashboard

Coming soon. You can still view your assets, stake and trade in your BitGo dashboard. Once the Arch dashboard is live, most actions will be available from the Arch dashboard, and will not require logging into the BitGo dashboard.

BitGo dashboard

You will be provided a BitGo login during your onboarding to custody. This will give you access to the BitGo platform under your own enterprise account.

Login to BitGo here.

BitGo Guide

Read BitGo's guide on everything to do with wallets, including creating wallets, storing your assets, filling gas tanks and more..

(Please note that this resource center is login gated, and will require your BitGo login)

Background

Assets (cryptocurrencies and other supported digital assets) may be held in hot, cold or Go (trading) wallets. Go wallets (the Go Account) are cold wallets with trading capabilities.

  • We recommend that assets be held in the Go Account for the most flexibility while still maintaining security and insurance on the wallets.

  • Withdrawals from any cold wallet require video verification, which you may schedule as you are requesting the withdrawal. Most video verifications can be scheduled for the same day.

  • Rules can be set to allow whitelisted wallets to receive withdrawals without video verification or to allow for withdrawals below an amount to be allowed without video verification.

Platform Walkthrough

In the image samples below, we will be viewing a self-managed hot wallet. However, most customers who wish to lock away assets for the medium/long term should use cold wallets or the Go Account.

  1. Assets View

  2. All wallets holding a token

  3. Wallet view of a token

  4. Staking view on a wallet

  5. Users on a wallet

Note: Arch’s master account will always be a user on wallets that we create for you. You may also create wallets that we are not a user on, or remove us as a user from wallets you wish to keep to yourself.

Arch is unable to provide white glove service and conduct transactions on behalf of users on wallets we are not a user on.

Arch will never conduct transactions without your permission. A written log of all user requests and transactions conducted as a result of the request are available on request. You may make requests via email or via Intercom chat in the web app.

  6. Wallet level whitelist

  7. Wallet level settings

  8. Go (Trading) Account

  9. Trade view

  10. Stake view

  11. Gas tanks

Gas tanks are wallets containing small amounts of a token, used to pay gas fees for transactions on that network. For example, if you create an ERC-20 wallet, you will need 0.1 ETH or more in an ERC-20 gas tank.

An Arch representative can help you fill your gas tank at any time, including on your onboarding call.

  12. Enterprise level account settings

  13. Enterprise level users

  14. Enterprise level policies
